Slowpoke on Pokémon TV

Slowpoke has also shown up multiple times in the Pokémon animation, including its debut in “Island of the Giant Pokémon!” We've collected some of Slowpoke's major appearances so you can watch a mini marathon of the Pokémon in action!

Slowpoke in the Video Games

Of course, Slowpoke has been a part of the Pokémon video game series from the very beginning, when it was first encountered in the wild in the Seafoam Islands in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue. Things took a dark turn in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver when Team Rocket plotted to cut the tails off the Slowpoke found in the Slowpoke Well in Azalea Town! Slowpoke's appearances continue all the way through Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, where it can be caught in a Mirage Cave, one of the special locations accessible only by Soaring.

Slowpoke in the Pokémon Center

To further celebrate Slowpoke, the Pokémon Center has just introduced a number of cool Slowpoke products, including T-shirts, a belt buckle, glass tumblers, and a spiral notebook. Check them out at PokemonCenter.com!

Here's hoping our Slowpoke celebration leaves you tickled pink!
