Ash enters his third battle in the qualifying round of the Hoenn League Championships and knows he’s up for a challenge the moment he sees throngs of adoring fans gathered around his opponent. After Ash and his two new friends miraculously achieve their goal of ascending to the victory tournament, Ash must go up against a trainer famous for her keen strategy. Using the randomly-chosen fields to her advantage, she takes two of Ash’s Pokémon out of action in no time at all. Ash will have to turn the tide of this battle quickly or have his Hoenn League experience cut short.
