    Description:
    Get started in Pokémon TCG play at League Challenge tournaments. League Challenges are small, entry-level events that are held monthly. At Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments, players can earn Championship Points and work toward earning an invitation to the World Championships! These events are designed to be a player’s first experience of formal tournament competition before moving up to League Cups, Regional Championships, and beyond.

    League Challenge events are open to all players. Players must bring their own legal 60-card Standard Format deck, damage counters, and a randomizer (translucent die, official Pokemon coin, etc.).League Challenges use Standard Swiss rounds of 30 minutes plus 3 turns; this event has no top cut. The number of rounds will be based on the number of players in the event.

    Prizes:
    Prizes are awarded to the top players in each of the three age divisions. To earn points and prizes, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached and must have opted into the Play! Pokémon program. All participants will receive 1 Play! Point just for playing.

    Each player will receive one (1) booster pack and a Pokémon Play! Pack for participation. Three (3) booster packs will be added to the prize pool per participant and distributed at the end of Swiss based on the final standings.

    1st Place: 15 Championship points
    2nd Place: 12 Championship points
    3rd & 4th Place: 10 Championship points
    5th - 8th Place: 8 Championship points (requires 21 participants)
    9th - 16th Place: 6 Championship points (requires 48 participants)
    17th - 32nd Place: 4 Championship points (requires 80 participants)
