    You will be considered “checked in” for the tournament once you have paid AND turned in your completed team list!

    Format: Great League (1500 CP or less), “Bring 6, Pick 3”
    Swiss: best-of-three games, 50-minute rounds.
    Top Cut (Single-Elimination): best-of-three games, 50-minute rounds.
    The number of players participating in the tournament directly affects how many Swiss and Single Elimination rounds will be played.
    Most Pokémon available in-game are legal for play with only a few exceptions. The following Pokémon cannot be included on a player’s team:
    Ditto
    Shedinja
    Changes to the legality of any Pokémon will be communicated through official channels in advance of any tournament. It is a player’s responsibility to confirm the legality of their chosen Pokémon ahead of each tournament.
    New Pokémon and new moves become legal for play 24 continuous hours after their time of release. A player may include newly released Pokémon or moves on their team so long as this 24-hour period ends before team registration closes for any given tournament.

    What You Need:
    Player ID number (if you do not have one, we can provide one to you)
    Great League format legal battle team (1500 CP or less).
    Completed Team List & Team Preview sheets (1 for the TO and 1 for your opponents).
    Fully functional phone/tablet that is charged and ready for play.
    Players are fully responsible for their own device(s).
    Battery pack & charger (recommended but not required).
    There are limited charging stations available so please come prepared to not negatively affect your experience.
    Players must ensure their account meets the below requirements to participate in Pokémon GO tournaments:
    Trainers must be at least Level 10 to unlock the Friend List and Battle Request features.
    Where an account is associated with a parent or guardian’s Niantic Kids account, the Friend List and Battle Request features must be enabled via the Niantic Kids Parent Portal.

    Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached, and must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points and prizes. If you do not know how to do this, please show up extra early so we can properly assist you.

    Prizing:
    Participation Prize: Each Player will receive 1 Prize Pack.
    Placement prizes will be awarded based on final standings. The breakdown can be seen below:

    4 - 7 Players: 3 Swiss Rounds only
    1st = 2 Prize Packs

    8 Players: 3 Swiss Rounds, Cut to Top 2
    1st = 2 Prize Packs, 2nd = 1 Prize Pack

    9 - 16 Players: 4 Swiss Rounds, Cut to Top 4
    1st = 3 Prize Packs, 2nd = 2 Prize Packs, 3rd = 1 Prize Pack, 4th = 1 Prize Pack

    17 - 32 Players: 5 Swiss Rounds, Cut to Top 8
    1st = 4 Prize Packs, 2nd = 3 Prize Packs, 3rd = 2 Prize Packs, 4th = 2 Prize Packs,
    5th - 8th = 1 Prize Pack

    Championship Points are awarded to top finishers.
