Secrets of the Storm

Hidden surprises on display! We reveal the secret cards from the Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm expansion.

When collecting cards from the latest Pokémon TCG expansion, Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm, be sure to keep a watchful eye for elusive secret cards. You can identify a secret card by looking at the collector number in the lower left corner—secret cards will have numbers higher than the official number of cards in the set (for example, 173/168). These cards are so secret, they don't even show up on the expansion's official card list!

Of course, secret cards are immediately recognizable by their appearance. They're often variants of other cards within the expansion, but with a brilliant new color scheme that will add impressive flair to your deck or collection.

Let's check out some of the beautiful secret cards you can find in the Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm expansion:

Rainbow Power

Many of the secret cards in Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm are stunning rare Rainbow versions of some of the expansion's Pokémon-GX. Whether they're on display in a binder or in play as your Active Pokémon, Pokémon-GX never fail to impress, and these shimmery, multicolored cards will ensure your deck stands out.

The rainbow effect certainly isn't reserved for Legendary Pokémon and Ultra Beasts! Other Pokémon-GX, such as Blaziken-GX and Mr. Mime-GX, are given their time to shine in Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm as well.

Golden Goodies

In addition to secret Pokémon-GX, Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm features a handful of hidden Trainer cards to discover. You can find helpful Item cards that are easily identifiable as secret cards thanks to their golden sheen—some of them, such as Acro Bike and Rainbow Brush, help you place an extra card in your hand or manipulate Energy attachment. Others, like Life Herb, can save you from a jam when your Pokémon have taken too much damage. There's even a secret golden Rainbow Energy card that provides a Pokémon with 1 Energy of any type, but at the cost of placing 1 damage counter on that Pokémon.
