The latest Pokémon GO Community Day is upon us! Community Days are monthly worldwide festivities dedicated to celebrating Pokémon GO's vast community of Trainers who have helped make the game such a phenomenon.
This month's Pokémon GO Community Day will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, and Larvitar will be the featured Pokémon of the day. During a three-hour window that day, wild Larvitar will appear with much greater frequency than normal. You'll want to catch as many as you can during that time period. Larvitar evolve into Pupitar, and if you evolve a Pupitar into Tyranitar during those three hours, it will know the attack Smack Down! Only Tyranitar that are caught—or Pupitar that evolve—during the Community Day festivities will learn this awesome move, and it's definitely worth knowing. Smack Down is the first Rock-type Fast Attack available to Tyranitar, making no other Rock-type attacker Tyranitar's equal!
In addition to all the Larvitar excitement, all Pokémon caught during the event hours will award three times the usual XP. Plus, Lure Modules will remain active for three hours, helping Trainers get the most out of the occasion. Check below to find out when the event hours fall in your region of the world.
The Americas: June 16, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT
The Asia-Pacific region: June 16, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST
