“Creep” it real with spooky tunes, festive Halloween décor, event bonuses, and more.

Pokémon GO’s Halloween events are always a gourd time, and Halloween 2023 Part I offers all the thrills, chills, tricks, and treats you’d expect! Through October 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time, get thoroughly spooked playing to the remix of Lavender Town’s theme, add Greavard and Houndstone to your Pokédex, and enjoy fa-boo-lous raids and research. You’ll be surrounded by Halloween spirit as PokéStops and Gyms sport festive décor.

There may be tricks but there’ll also be treats, including additional Candy and Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws; double Candy for hatching Pokémon; and Trainers level 31 and above will receive additional Candy XL for hatching Eggs.

Carve out time for research with Timed Research, Paid Timed Research, and Field Research. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will earn Trainers Poké Balls, encounters with Misdreavus and Phantump, and more. Take on Timed Research—available between October 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and October 31, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time—to earn encounters with Ghost-type Pokémon, including Spiritomb. The Ticket of Treats is also available to purchase in the in-game shop for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers who complete the research granted by the Ticket of Treats will earn two Incubators, additional encounters with Phantump, and more.
