Charcadet Makes Its Pokémon GO Debut During Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event

Celebrate the new Pokémon animated series with Pokémon GO debuts and costumed Pokémon.

Pokémon’s new animated series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, hits Netflix on March 7, 2024, but the Pokémon GO party is kicking off a little early. From March 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to March 11, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event is introducing Pokémon and characters from the animation to Pokémon GO. Charcadet, Armarouge, Ceruledge, and Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat will all appear for the first time in Pokémon GO. Pikachu will know the Electric-type Charged Attack Volt Tackle, which is also making its Pokémon GO debut in this event. Get fired up for Charcadet, which may hatch from 10 km Eggs. To make hatching Eggs even more exciting, Trainers will receive double XP for hatching Eggs during the event.

In addition to the fiery and adorable Charcadet and its two Evolutions, you may encounter the following Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild during the event: Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat, Alolan Grimer, Scyther, Nosepass, Beldum, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Pawmi. The human characters will be joining the party as well, so take plenty of snapshots during the event—you may just get a surprise encounter with some of the characters and Pokémon you’ll meet in Pokémon Horizons: The Series!

Show that you’ve got Liko and Roy’s courage and sense of adventure by taking part in raids to catch the following Pokémon.

  • One-Star Raids

    • Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat

    • Rhyhorn

    • Rockruff

  • Three-Star Raids

    • Chansey

    • Noctowl

    • Metagross

Reach for new horizons, Trainers!
