Shiny Voltorb and Shiny Foongus are more likely to appear in these special mass outbreaks, so don’t miss your chance to find one! And be sure to stay on the ball—a certain mystery Pokémon that can’t normally be encountered in Paldea might be around these mass outbreaks as well.

Mass outbreaks are a phenomenon in which many of the same species of Pokémon appear in one location. To participate in mass outbreak events, you will need to download the latest Poké Portal News and install the latest update data for your game.
