2022 Pokkén Tournament World Championships Player Information

The 2022 Pokkén Tournament World Championships will take place Friday, August 19 for both age divisions. Players will battle for great prizes (including a share of the $20,000 prize pool in the Masters Division) and the title of World Champion. The competition begins at 9:00 a.m. BST in the Pokkén Tournament DX area.

The competition will unfold via double-elimination brackets: 8 players for the Senior Division and 16 players for the Masters Division. Matches will be played on Nintendo Switch systems connected by LAN cables, and each competitor will have their own monitor. Winners will be determined in a best-of-five format, and most matches will be streamed. All competitors must bring their own wired HORI Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad or wired HORI Nintendo Switch Pokkén Tournament DX Pro Pad to participate in this event. Players may wear wired headphones.
