2022 Pokémon GO Last Chance Qualifier

The Pokémon GO Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) is the final opportunity for players to earn a spot in the Pokémon GO World Championships. The tournament takes place on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at ExCeL London. The top two Masters division players and the top Senior division player from the tournament will receive an invitation to play the following day, Friday, August 19, at the World Championships main event. There, they’ll compete against other players from previous qualifying events for great prizes! If the Tournament Organizer is notified of a no-show of a qualified invited competitor, that spot may be replaced by additional qualifying players through the LCQ. This will be announced before the LCQ begins on Thursday.

Registration

The LCQ is open to anyone not already qualified for a World Championship event. The entry fee for the Pokémon GO LCQ is £30 for all participants. Registration for the LCQ includes a spectator badge to the Pokémon World Championships for the entrant. Players under age 18 will receive one additional spectator badge and lanyard at no charge for a parent or guardian. Additionally, all participants will receive six Pokémon TCG booster packs. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Player Meeting

Pokémon GO LCQ entrants must pick up their spectator badges prior to entering the event hall. All players must attend a pre-event player meeting before their bracket begins on Thursday, August 18, in the Pokémon GO area of the event hall in ExCeL London. As there may be multiple waves of meetings with different start times, the precise time of the meeting will be communicated to registered players in the days before the event.
