2018 Worlds Event Registration

Registration for the World Championships will take place entirely online.

A badge is required to enter the event space at all times. Badges must be visibly worn while within the event space.

Badges can only be purchased online using a credit or debit card, and can only be picked up on site at the event. Cash or check payments for badges will not be accepted.

Competitors and spectators can check in and pick up their badges at the Nashville Music City Center, at the Terrace outside Halls C & D, at the following times:

Thursday, August 23, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, August 24, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, August 25, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, August 26, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Proof of age may be requested during check-in. Failure to provide proof of age may result in the player being denied participation in the tournament, at the organizer's discretion.

Registration for Main Event Competitors

Qualified competitors who have received invitations are highly encouraged to RSVP via the online registration system. There is no registration fee for competitors.

All competitors will receive one competitor badge and Worlds lanyard, plus one spectator badge for a guest or parent/guardian. This spectator badge will not include any other items. Any additional spectator badges must be purchased online. All competitors who RSVP online will also be guaranteed to receive a welcome kit. Items will be distributed on site at the event. Substitute product may be provided if necessary. Players who do not RSVP in advance will still be allowed to play, but may not be guaranteed to receive a welcome kit.

Competitors will be required to provide their name, player ID number, and some form of ID to pick up their competitor badge. Junior and Senior Division competitors must also have a guardian present to pick up their competitor badge.

Registration for Pokkén Tournament DX LCQ Competitors

Players who would like to battle in the Pokkén Tournament DX Last Chance Qualifier will also need to register online prior to the start of the competition. The entry fee for the Pokkén Tournament DX LCQ is $30 for all players. Registration for the LCQ includes a spectator badge to the Pokémon World Championships for the entrant. Players under age 18 will receive one additional spectator badge and lanyard at no charge for a parent or guardian. Additionally, all registrants will receive six Pokémon TCG booster packs. Entry fees are nonrefundable.

The registration fee for spectators of all ages is $10. Registration fees are nonrefundable. All spectators will receive two booster packs when they pick up their badges.

A registration confirmation email (sent after spectator registration is completed via the registration website) will be required to pick up spectator badges. A maximum of six spectator badges can be purchased at one time.

Children age 5 and under do not need to be registered in advance, and will instead be given wristbands on site at the event. Children age 5 and under do not receive any additional items.

Side Events

All side events will take place inside the event space, so attendees must wear an official event badge at all times to participate. This includes the Nashville Open and the Pokkén Tournament DX Last Chance Qualifier.

  • Whenever you are in the event space, please make sure that you are wearing your badge and that it is visible at all times.

  • For your safety and the safety of all guests, all bags will be subject to search upon entry to the event.

  • Items that would not pass airline security, as well as electronic smoking devices, are not permitted in the event space. This includes all weapons and small pocketknives, other sharp objects, and propellant sprays.

  • Please leave any items larger than a backpack at your hotel. If you have already checked out, please ask the hotel front desk to store your luggage.
