2017 Pokkén Tournament World Championships Competitor Information

The 2017 Pokkén Tournament World Championships will be held Saturday, August 19, in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center. Players will compete for the title of World Champion and a share of the $20,000 prize pool.

The competition will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Pokkén Tournament area. Players will compete in a 16-player double elimination bracket on the Nintendo Wii U via LAN connector. All matches will be best-of-5 games and every match will be streamed. Players must use the official Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad by HORI. Players may wear wired headphones.

9 a.m. – Winners Round 1 (8 matches)

11 a.m. – Winners Round 2 (4 matches)

Noon – Losers Round 1 (4 matches)

1 p.m. – Losers Round 2 (4 matches)

2 p.m. – Winners Semi-finals (2 matches)

2:30 p.m. - Losers Round 3 (2 matches)

3 p.m. – Losers Round 4 (2 matches)

3:30 p.m. – Winners Finals (Main stage)

3:50 p.m. – Losers Semi-finals (Main stage)

4:10 p.m. – Losers Finals (Main stage)

4:30 p.m. – Grand Finals (Main stage)
