  2. Welcome to the first Oak Park Pokémon League League Cup!

We will be hosting a Cosmic Eclipse League Cup. The format is *Standard*, meaning sets from Ultra Prism to Cosmic Eclipse.

Pre-registrations are encouraged, and we will have a total cap of 30 players for this cup due to space constraints and prizing. We will take pre-registrations for 10 players in each of Junior/Senior/Masters. If we do not fill up with pre-registrations, we will open up the tournament to any division day of; please email or call us for more information. Pre registrations can be done over the phone (not email) or in the store.

As this is a league cup, please make sure to bring a pre-filled deck list for your standard legal deck; use https://pokegym.net/decklist/pokemon.htm or https://player.rk9labs.com/decklist/ to make a deck list and bring it in.

Given the numbers, we likely will play 4 or 5 rounds with a top 4 cut in each division of at least 9 players (so the winners might play at most 7 rounds). All rounds will be Best of 1, with a 30 minute time limit. We will have a brief intermission for deck checks between the conclusion of the final Swiss round and top cut; there are several food options available within a few blocks for those who want to eat.

Prizing will be dependent on registration, and will be given in store credit. Prizing will be per age division so long as the age division has enough for a separate pod (6 minimum). Additionally, the typical promotional prizes will be available in each division (regardless of entry numbers).

Our league is a friendly league with a large number of younger Junior players, so we encourage younger players to participate in this League Cup!

Please feel free to contact the organizer by email if you have any questions, or call the store for more information or to pre-register. Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you there!
