  2. The Pokémon TCG League Cup events do not require an invitation or qualification. All players who have Trainer Club accounts and are in good standing with the Play! Pokémon rules are welcome to participate. Players need to bring their own 60-card deck, play mat, dice, coins or other items needed for play. You must bring your Pokemon Play ID. If you don’t already have a Player ID you'll need to go online and setup your own Player ID and bring it to the tournament or one will be issued at the tournament if necessary.

    !!!!!!!League Cup may use either the Standard format or the Expanded format, at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer.!!!!!! This will be a Standard format tournament.

    Player registration begins at 11:00 AM and will close at 12, Noon. This will be strictly enforced. We will not wait for participants.

    Tournament will start shortly after all players are registered and deck checks completed. Prepared deck lists are encouraged.

    Participants will receive 2 Play! Points just for playing.

    Winners in each age division (Juniors, Seniors, Masters) earn a CHAMPION play mat. Three current set booster packs will be placed into the player prize pool per player and will be divided among the top four players in each age group based on attendance or other factors as necessary at the TO's discretion. (This information is subject to change. Changes of information will be announced at our Facebook page or website or announcements before the start of the tournament upon the discretion of the Tournament Organizer. These changes, if any are not up for debate or discussion and decisions of the TO are final.)

    We will play a number of Swiss rounds + a top cut - based on attendance. Rounds will be 30 minutes each, best of 1. Top cut rounds will be 60 minutes each, best of 3. In the event of a match going to time play will continue for 3 additional turns. Breaks during the tournament will be decided by the TO and announcements will be made at the start of the tournament.
