All players MUST register online. Since everyone has to register online, either ahead of time or on site, it’s best to avoid the rush and do it before you arrive. But online registration does not guarantee your spot in this event. Each player will be checked in upon entering the venue. Once checked in, you are officially entered in this event.

Please arrive early enough to allow yourself plenty of time to check in (and register if needed). Registration closes thirty minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has closed will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.

The use of external devices to modify or create items or Pokémon in a player’s Battle Box is expressly forbidden. Players found to have Pokémon or items that have been hacked will be disqualified from competition, regardless of whether the Pokémon or items belong to that player or were traded for.

Please read the full details, including some manual hack checks you can do at home, on Pokémon's Rules and Resources page under Play! Pokémon VG Rules & Formats.

NOTES: To make registration go smoothly, please make sure your Battle Team and team list are in the exact same order (including move order).

All day tournaments take a lot of energy! Be sure your DS is fully charged before the tournament and bring a charger. We will have a charging station available.

There are no prerequisites to play in a Midseason Showdown. Players of all skill levels are welcome. We hope to see you there!
