Play! Pokémon Event Hosting Requirements

The requirements to host Play! Pokémon events differ by the type of event. Become an official Play! Store for the Pokémon Trading Card Game in order to get access to the following events.

Pokémon League

The Pokémon League is the entry point for the Play! Pokémon Grassroots Program in your store.

  • Your store must meet the criteria listed here in order to participate in this program. All applications will be reviewed for eligibility.

  • Only one League may exist per venue, and attempts to create a Pokémon League in a location that already hosts one will be denied.

  • Should a League already exist in your store, please contact us to take official ownership over the sanctioned Pokémon activities in your store.
