Pokémon TCG player schedule

Thursday, July 3

  • On-site check-in for all preregistered players: 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

  • Preregistration kiosks available: 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

Friday, July 4

  • Last-chance player check-in: 7–7:30 a.m.

  • Player meeting: 8–8:30 a.m.

  • Between 6 and 9 Swiss rounds will be played, depending on divisional attendance.

All players must be in their assigned seats with completed deck lists by 8 a.m. for the start of the player meeting. Players who are not seated at this time risk being dropped from the tournament.

Saturday, July 5

  • Day 2 of Swiss rounds will begin at 8 a.m.

    • Please see the tables found here for information on number of rounds, and cuts based on attendance.

    • Players not in their seats by 8 a.m. will receive a game loss for the first round and will be dropped from the event if they have not reported by the end of that round.

  • After the Swiss rounds are complete, the top 8 matches (quarterfinals) will be played.

  • Time permitting, the top 4 matches (semi-finals) will be played on stage in this order: Junior Division, Senior Division, Masters Division.

Sunday, July 6

  • The final round will be played on stage in this order: Junior Division, Senior Division, Masters Division.

    • Players must be checked in and ready to play by 8 a.m., or they will forfeit their first game. Players not in their seats by 8:15 a.m. will forfeit their second game, and thereby, the match.

 

Pokémon VG player schedule

Thursday, July 3

  • Check-in for VG Masters Division players will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Battle Boxes will be locked when players check in.

Friday, July 4

  • Last-minute check-in for VG Masters Division players will be from 7 to 7:30 a.m.

  • Masters Division players will compete in Swiss rounds in two flights beginning at 8 a.m.

    • Attendance permitting, the top 16 or top 32 players from each flight will advance to play on Saturday.

  • Registration for Junior and Senior Division VG players will take place Friday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. Battle Boxes will be locked when players register.

  • Side events will occur throughout the day. The full schedule will be released at a later date.

Saturday, July 5

  • Junior and Senior Division

    • Last-minute registration will take place from 8 to 8:30 a.m.

    • Player meeting will commence at 9:30 a.m.

    • Swiss rounds will begin at 10 a.m.

    • A Top 16 cut will be taken at the end of Swiss rounds, attendance permitting. The single-elimination Top 16 will be played on Sunday.

  • Masters Division

    • Day 2 of Masters Division Swiss rounds will begin at 8 a.m. The top 32 or 64 players (based on the previous day’s results and attendance) will compete in five or six rounds of best-of-three matches.

    • A Top 8 cut will be taken at the end of Swiss rounds. The single-elimination Top 8 will be played late Saturday afternoon.

  • Side events will occur throughout the day. The full schedule will be released at a later date.

Sunday, July 6

  • Single-elimination rounds (Top 16, Junior and Senior Divisions) will be played.

    • ALL players must be checked in and ready to play by 10 a.m., or they will forfeit their first game. Players not in their seats by 10:10 a.m. will forfeit their second game, and thereby, the match.

  • Junior, Senior, and Masters Division finals (top 2) will occur sequentially beginning at 2 p.m.

  • Side events will occur throughout the day. The full schedule will be released at a later date.
