2022 Pokémon European International Championships Registration

Pokémon TCG, video game, Pokémon GO, and Pokkén Tournament DX competitors and spectators can register online for the 2022 Pokémon European International Championships to be held April 22–24 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Competitor Registration


Registration Deadlines

Pokémon TCG and video game competitor registration will be open for Masters Division players until caps are met or until 11:59 p.m. CET on Wednesday, April 20—whichever comes first.

Pokémon GO Masters Division registration closes at 8:00 p.m. CET on Wednesday, April 20. This event will have only an open-registration window.

Video Game Junior and Senior Divisions, TCG Junior and Senior competitor, and Pokémon GO Senior Division registration closes at 8:00 p.m. CET on Thursday, April 21.

Pokkén Tournament DX registration closes at 8:00 p.m. CET on Wednesday, April 20.


Competitor Registration Fees

Masters Division (Pokémon TCG, VGC [Video Game Championship], Pokémon GO, and Pokkén Tournament DX): €45
Junior and Senior Divisions (Pokémon TCG and VGC): €30
Senior Division (Pokémon GO & Pokkén Tournament DX): €30

All competitors who register and attend will receive a badge, lanyard, player pin, deck box, set of card sleeves, playmat, and hat while supplies last. Items will be distributed on-site at the event. Substitute products may be provided if necessary.

Badges can be picked up on-site at the event only. Competitors will be required to provide their name, player ID number, and some form of ID in order to pick up their competitor badge. Junior and Senior Division competitors must also have a guardian present when they pick up their competitor badge.

All registered competitors under age 18 will also receive a spectator badge and lanyard, at no additional charge, for a parent or guardian. This spectator badge will not include any other items. Any additional spectator badges must be purchased online.

Spectator Registration

Spectator registration fee (ages 6 and over): €10

Spectator registration will be available for online purchase throughout the event weekend, until 1:00 p.m. CET on Sunday, April 24, or until badges sell out.

Each spectator will receive two Pokémon TCG booster packs when they pick up their badge. A registration confirmation email (sent after spectator registration is completed via the registration website) will be required to pick up spectator badges. A maximum of two spectator badges can be purchased at one time.

Badges can only be purchased online using a credit or debit card. Cash or check payments for badges will not be accepted.

Children age 5 and under do not need to be registered in advance and instead will be given wristbands on-site at the event. Children age 5 and under will not receive additional items.

Badge Pickup

Competitors and spectators can pick up their badges at the following locations and times:

Thursday, April 21, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, April 22, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 23, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 24, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Badge pickup will be located inside Hall 6 at the Messe Frankfurt.

Competitors will receive lanyard and welcome items when badges are picked up. In order to be entered in the tournament, players must check in early. See the check-in policy for more details.

Players may not participate in overlapping events that occur at the same time (e.g., Pokkén Tournament DX Senior Division and Video Game Senior Division competitions). Players will need to indicate which event they will play in on Saturday (they cannot play in both). If you are playing in two events, please inform a judge in the competition you will not be participating in so they can remove you from the competitor list.


Security Notice

  • Whenever you are in the event space, please make sure that you are wearing your badge and that it is visible at all times.

  • For your safety and the safety of all guests, all bags will be subject to search upon entry to the event.

  • Items that would not pass airline security, as well as electronic smoking devices, are not permitted in the event space. This includes all weapons, pocketknives, other sharp objects, and propellant sprays.

  • Please leave any items larger than a backpack at your hotel. If you have already checked out, please ask the hotel front desk to store your luggage. Bags should not exceed 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (23 cm x 36 cm x 56 cm). Attendees with larger items will not be permitted to enter the event space.
