Pokémon TCG, video game, and Pokkén Tournament DX competitors, as well as spectators, can register online for the 2019 Pokémon North America International Championships, taking place in Columbus, Ohio, June 21–23.
Registration for this event will take place entirely online. Registration for Pokémon TCG Senior and Masters Division and video game Masters Division competitors will be open until caps are met, or until 11:59 p.m. EDT (local time in Columbus) on Wednesday, June 19, whichever comes first. Registration for all Pokkén Tournament DX competitors and for Pokémon TCG Junior Division and video game Junior and Senior Division competitors will be open until 8 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 21. Spectator badges will be available throughout the event until all badges are sold out. All entry fees are nonrefundable. Badges can only be purchased online using a credit or debit card. Cash or check payments for badges will not be accepted.
Competitor registration fees:
Masters Division (Pokémon TCG, VGC, and Pokkén Tournament DX): $60
Senior Division (Pokémon TCG, VGC, and Pokkén Tournament DX): $40
Junior Division (Pokémon TCG and VGC): $40
All competitors who register and attend will receive a badge, lanyard, player pin, deck box, set of card sleeves, playmat, and hat. Items will be distributed on site at the event. Substitute product may be provided if necessary.
Badges can only be picked up on site at the event. Competitors will be required to provide their name, player ID number, and some form of ID to pick up their competitor badge. Junior and Senior Division competitors must also have a guardian present to pick up their competitor badge.
All registered competitors under age 18 will also receive a spectator badge and lanyard, at no additional charge, for a parent or guardian. This spectator badge will not include any other items. Any additional spectator badges must be purchased online.
Spectator registration fee (age 6 and over): $10
Spectator registration will be available for online purchase throughout the event weekend, until 1 p.m. EDT on Sunday, June 23, or until badges sell out.
Each spectator will receive two Pokémon TCG booster packs when they pick up their badge. A registration confirmation email (sent after spectator registration is completed via the registration website) will be required to pick up spectator badges. A maximum of six spectator badges can be purchased at one time.
Children age 5 and under do not need to be registered in advance, and will instead be given wristbands on site at the event. These children do not receive any additional items.
Competitors and spectators can pick up their badges at the following locations and times:
Thursday, June 20, 5–8 p.m.
Friday, June 21, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 22, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, June 23, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Badge pickup will be located in the Union Station Ballrooms on Thursday, June 20. On Friday to Sunday, badge pickup will be located outside Hall C.
Competitors will receive lanyard and welcome items when badges are picked up. In order to be entered in the tournament, players must check in early. See the check-in policy for more details.
Please note: Pokkén Tournament DX Senior and Masters Divisions, Video Game Junior and Senior Divisions, and Pokémon TCG Junior Division competitions all begin Saturday, June 22. Players may not participate in overlapping events that occur at the same time (e.g., Pokkén Tournament DX Senior Division and VG Senior Division competitions). If a player who advances from Friday in the Pokémon TCG or VG event has also registered for the Pokkén Tournament DX event, they will need to indicate which event they will play in on Saturday—they cannot play in both. If you qualify for two events, please inform a judge in the competition you will not be participating in so they can remove you from the competitor list.
Whenever you are in the event space, please make sure that you are wearing your badge and that it is visible at all times.
Bag and Personal Items Policy
To ensure the safety of all attendees, the following items will not be permitted into the event:
Items which could be considered "weapons" and would not pass airline security (including all firearms, sharp objects, mock weapons, and sprays)
Electronic smoking devices
Bags larger than 9” x 14” x 22” (23cm x 36cm x 56 cm). If an airline would not classify it a Carry-On, it is too big. Please check with your hotel about bag storage options.
Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance
Full facial coverings, like masks
Apparel, objects or signs with explicit wording or pictures
Animals (other than service animals)
All bags are subject to search upon entry to the event, and security retains the right to refuse entry.
Good luck to all competitors at the 2019 Pokémon North America International Championships!
