Pokémon Europe International Championships Side Events

The Pokémon Europe International Championships will host a full schedule of side events open to all attendees who have an official event badge, regardless of whether the attendee is playing in the main event. Come battle for great prizes in smaller Pokémon TCG and video game competitions throughout the weekend. It’s a great opportunity to compete against players from around the world.

Most side events require an entry fee. Side event registration opens Friday and Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The prize wall closes early Sunday afternoon when the Europe International Championships closing ceremonies start. Prizes must be redeemed by that time. See the side events area at the venue for more details.

Most on-demand side event pods are single-elimination brackets of 8 players. There will be free-of-charge round robin pods of 4 players available to Junior Division players each day. Players will receive prize wall tickets based on their record.

Midseason Showdowns and Pokémon TCG Cups will operate as best-of-1 Swiss, followed by a best-of-3 single-elimination Top Cut. For Masters, these events will start on Saturday, with the Top 8 taking place on Sunday. For Juniors and Seniors, the events have a player cap of 64 players per age division, playing a maximum of 5 rounds of Swiss followed by the Top Cut and taking place entirely on Sunday.

There are also events for players of Pokkén Tournament DX, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! See below for details.

All times CEST. Times are subject to change.
