May is getting reacquainted with her less-than-cordial rival, Drew, when Team Rocket interrupts their practice battle and begins sucking all Pokémon in sight into a giant vacuum. Their eyes too big for their vacuum bag, the overzealous villains suck up too many Pokémon, resulting in an explosion that sends Ash and friends, Team Rocket, and Drew flying through the air. Mixed and matched by the blast, members of each party land together in the most unlikely of pairings, but must momentarily put aside their differences in order to make their way back to the beaten path.
