When there’s a mystery afoot in Ryme City, you can count on Pikachu and his partner Tim Goodman to get to the bottom of it. Detective Pikachu Returns is coming to Nintendo Switch systems on October 6, 2023, and a new trailer has just been released showing off the latest footage of this adventure.
During their investigations, Pikachu and Tim gather information from a variety of sources. People, obviously, provide plenty of clues for our intrepid duo, but Pokémon can also offer help thanks to Pikachu’s ability to communicate with them. In fact, some of these Pokémon can use their special skills to aid our heroes.
We’ve already seen Growlithe sniff out clues with her sensitive snout and Galarian Darmanitan’s powerful punch, but now we’ve discovered that Luxray can provide support thanks to his ability to see through walls. This Pokémon will help you look for hidden clues or sneak around undetected.
