Test Your Johto Region Knowledge with This Quiz

Find out just how well you know the people, places, and Pokémon we’ve met through the video games, animation, and the Pokémon TCG.

To celebrate 25 years of Pokémon, we’ve been testing your knowledge of the regions that have been featured in the core video games of the Pokémon series. Now, we’ve reached the Johto region, which was first explored in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver before being revisited in Pokémon Crystal and later in Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver. After leaving the Kanto region and the Orange Islands, Ash and Pikachu visited Johto in the third, fourth, and fifth seasons of Pokémon the Series, and Pokémon from the region were introduced into the Pokémon Trading Card Game in the Neo Genesis expansion, released in 2000.

Give yourself a point for each question you get correct, then tally up your score to see how well you did at the end of the quiz. Good luck, Trainers!
