The November 2022 Pokémon GO Community Day will have Trainers over the moon with event bonuses, a new Pokédex entry, and plenty of pawsitively adorable Teddiursa roaming the wild. On November 12, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time, the Normal-type Little Bear Pokémon will appear more frequently. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny one! And keep your eyes on the skies—a full moon will appear in-game from the start of the event through November 13, 2022, at 6:00 a.m. local time. While the moon is visible, Trainers can use 100 Teddiursa Candy to evolve Ursaring—Teddiursa’s Evolution—into Ursaluna for the first time in Pokémon GO. If you evolve Ursaring during the event or up to five hours afterward, your Ursaluna will know the Ground-type Charged Attack High Horsepower, which is also making its Pokémon GO debut.
This Community Day is going to be un-bear-ably busy with the following bonuses in effect throughout the event.
3× Stardust for catching Pokémon
2× chance for Trainers Level 31+ to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon
2× Candy for catching Pokémon
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
Trades will require 50% less Stardust (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Community Day)
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Community Day)
If you find yourself feeling peckish, you can indulge in the Community Day Special Research story “A Sweet Snack” by purchasing a ticket in the in-game shop for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Additionally, Trainers can purchase tickets for friends that they’ve reached a friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. To give the gift of research, simply tap the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button.
Extend the Community Day fun from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. local time with four-star Raid Battles featuring Ursaring. After a successful Ursaring Raid Battle, Teddiursa will appear in a 300-meter radius around the Gym for 30 minutes. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny one! These four-star Raids are not accessible via Remote Raid Passes—they can only be accessed with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes.
Enjoy sinking your claws into this Pokémon GO Community Day, Trainers!
