Hit the Gas with Rose & Copperajah in Pokémon Masters EX

Take advantage of Rose & Copperajah’s unique passive skill that allows their hard-hitting moves to strike all opposing sync pairs.

The Galar villain arc is kicking off in Pokémon Masters EX, and Chairman Rose stands at the center of this latest plot. During the events of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games, Rose attempted to harness Galar Particles to use as an energy source. Though thwarted in Galar, Rose is looking to do more of the same on Pasio using the island’s unique sync stones—and with a new accomplice by his side. Experience the newest chapter of the villain arc and find out whether Rose will succeed, once and for all.

Rose & Copperajah are a Steel-type strike sync pair with the potential to trample their opponents with their powerful max moves and their unique passive skill, P-Moves & Max Moves Expansion. This passive skill makes it so Rose & Copperajah’s moves or max moves hit all opposing sync pairs. Coupled with their passive skill Hit the Gas 5—which increases the damage of all moves—Rose & Copperajah will have no problem crushing their opponents.

Rose & Copperajah are available to scout until August 18, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.

Recommended Sync Pairs to Partner with Rose & Copperajah

  • Sonia & Yamper

Rose & Copperajah have powerful moves that can easily overwhelm opposing sync pairs, but they need help keeping their move gauge full due to their low Speed and Hit the Gas 5’s additional cost. Sonia & Yamper are easily able supply that support with Team Swift Reaction 9, which raises the Speed of all allied sync pairs by one stat rank each time Sonia & Yamper are hit by a move. Their Catalyzing Recovery passive skill can also apply the Move Gauge Acceleration effect to the allied field of play whenever Sonia & Yamper use a move that heals—including Potion. Sonia & Yamper are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Galar Ticket Scout.

  • Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp

Rose & Copperajah can fully raise their Attack and critical-hit rate with Actions, Not Words! but there are still other ways to increase the damage their moves do by selecting the right allies. Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp can use the move Screech to lower their target’s Defense by two stat ranks, increasing the damage that opponent takes from physical moves. Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp are also a Steel-type tech sync pair with the Steel theme skill, which raises the Attack, Sp. Atk, and HP of all allied sync pairs when they’re on a team with at least one other Steel-type sync pair. Teaming them up with Rose & Copperajah also grants a Steel theme skill benefit, raising the Attack and Sp. Atk of all allied sync pairs. Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs.

Stay steely, Trainers!
