Despite Harley’s treachery, May manages to proceed to the Festival’s second round, where by some trick of fate she is paired up against Harley in her first contest battle. Steadily regaining her confidence after her lackluster performance in the preliminaries, May finally beats Harley, removing him from the contest. There is truly no rest for the weary, though, as May must quickly face her longstanding rival, Drew, in yet another contest battle.
