Featured Cards
Charizard
Despite a staggering 160 HP and a potent 150-damage attack, Charizard (20/149) is not a Pokémon-EX. So you get all the firepower without the risk of your opponent taking two Prize cards if Charizard gets Knocked Out! Sear your opponent’s Pokémon first with Split Bomb, which does 40 damage to 2 of your opponent’s Pokémon. Then, go for the Knock Out with the Scorching Fire attack! It’s a pricey punch—it requires 5 attached Energy, and you have to discard a Fire Energy from Charizard when it uses the attack—but well worth it, doing 150 damage every time. With the right setup, you can deliver knockout blows one after another! Turn up the heat on your opponents with Charizard!
Blastoise
Speed up the flow of Water Energy to your next team with Blastoise (31/149)! Use its Deluge Ability to power up your Pokémon with Energy, then unleash Blastoise’s Hydro Pump attack to wash the Defending Pokémon away. Blastoise is the perfect mix of team support and damage potential!
Dusknoir
Shuffle damage around at will with Dusknoir’s (63/149) Sinister Hand Ability! Concentrate damage on a single Pokémon to knock it out, or spread it around to weaken an entire Bench. Dusknoir can also deliver a hefty blow with Shadow Punch, a potent attack that isn’t affected by Resistance!
Landorus-EX
The enormous Landorus-EX (89/149) will rock on your next team. Damage both the Defending Pokémon and one of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon with its Hammerhead attack. Then finish the job with Land’s Judgment, which does 80 damage, or 70 more damage if you choose to discard all Fighting Energy!
Black Kyurem-EX
The might of Dragon-type Pokémon continue to be on display with the awesome Black Kyurem-EX (101/149). The 180HP Pokémon can deliver two attacks that could turn the tide in any battle: Dragon Fang hits for 60 damage, plus will Paralyze the Defending Pokémon on the flip of a coin. Then, go for the knockout strike with Freeze Shock, a 150-damage hammer of an attack. Be prepared when you use Freeze Shock, as Black Kyurem-EX can't attack on the following turn after you use it. A Basic Pokémon with incredibly high HP and two monstrous attacks—this is a card that could help you win a lot of your upcoming matches.
White Kyurem-EX
Fire and water usually don't mix, but when you attach the right combination of Energy to the new White Kyurem-EX (103/149), you're ready for some devastating power! Do damage and add Energy to White Kyurem-EX at the same time with Dragon Stream, a 60-damage attack that will also let you take a Basic Energy from the discard pile and put it on White Kyurem-EX. You'll be happy to have the extra Energy when you use the Ice Burn attack, which requires 2 Fire Energy, a Water Energy, and 1 more Colorless Energy: Ice Burn does 150 damage and burns the Defending Pokémon, but you have to discard 2 Fire Energy attached to White Kyurem-EX. Get that Energy back out of your discard pile with Dragon Stream and you're ready to keep the heat on your opponent all match long!
Computer Search
Get any card you need with the Computer Search (137/149) ACE SPEC Trainer-Item card. Discard 2 cards from your hand to fetch any card out of your deck. Whether it’s a Pokémon or Energy or a Supporter Card, Computer Search is on the job.
Crystal Edge
Black & White—Boundaries Crossed introduced a new type of Pokémon card, the ACE SPEC card, of which you're allowed only one in your entire deck. Not one of each kind—one ACE SPEC card total, so you better make it count! The first we'll look at is Crystal Edge (138/149), a Pokémon Tool that attaches specifically to White Kyurem-EX. When Crystal Edge is attached, all of White Kyurem-EX's attacks do an additional 50 damage to the Defending Pokémon! Dragon Stream alone will do base 110 damage, and Ice Burn will do an unbelievable 200 base damage! If you plan to use White Kyurem-EX in your next deck, do not forget to include Crystal Edge to give you even more knockout power!
