Pokémon Battle Trozei is packed with fast-paced gameplay and loads of Pokémon for you to catch. But if you’re going to catch every Pokémon in the game, you’ll have to know how to unlock the many secret stages. Take a look at some of the ways you can unlock stages and find more Pokémon!
Start with the Basics
If you’ve started playing Pokémon Battle Trozei, you’ve probably noticed that once you clear a stage, the next stage will unlock. This is true for the first several stages in each zone. After you beat the fourth stage in a zone, you’ll unlock a new zone instead of a new stage. Pay attention to which Pokémon appear and what their types are as you play through these stages. This knowledge will help you later, when it comes time to choose a Support Pokémon for replaying these levels to unlock the secret stages.
Quite a Catch
There are many Pokémon that will only appear if you do something specific during the stage. You may need to make a supereffective attack on an earlier Pokémon or knock a Pokémon out in one hit. Or you may need to pull off a long combo, such as in Zone 1—Stage 1, where Quilladin won’t appear unless you perform a combo of 15 Trozeis against Chespin.
What does this mean for unlocking secret stages? Some stages will only unlock once you’ve caught specific Pokémon on other stages. For example, catch Quilladin as described above, along with Braixen on Zone 1—Stage 2 and Frogadier on Zone 1—Stage 3, and you’ll unlock Zone 1—Stage 5! All of these Pokémon are hidden initially, so you’ll have to get them to appear in the first place before you can set about catching them. Experiment with all kinds of different ways to make Pokémon appear.
Earn the Rank
When it comes to the final way of unlocking secret stages, you’ll have to bring your A game. Earn an A rank or higher in each of the first four stages of a zone to unlock a new secret stage. There’s no single skill to master to earn an A rank—you’ll need to pull an all-around great performance to earn the rank. Some factors in getting an A rank include creating a long combo, clearing the entire Trozei Box, and performing supereffective attacks. Play levels over and over to improve your skills. Plus, remember to select a Support Pokémon that will help most on the level you’re trying to beat, such as choosing a Fire-type Support Pokémon if you know you’ll be facing a lot of Grass-type Pokémon.
