Pokémon TCG competitors got the National Championships off to a hot start with a full day of intense competition.
The first day of the Pokémon TCG National Championships has come to a close, with a new record number of players participating. The Masters and Senior division players completed five rounds; the Junior Division played four rounds. Everyone will play an additional four rounds tomorrow.
From early observations, this seems like one of the most strategically diverse National Championships we’ve seen. Darkrai-EX and Zekrom-Eelektrik decks were popular, but a lot of intriguing new decks did well, too. We’ll have more strategy coverage as the weekend continues.
