Take a look at photos from around the event floor as the Pokémon TCG tournament continues.
Players flock to the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online kiosks in between rounds.
The packed field features a lot of tournament veterans, as well as those experiencing Nationals for the first time.
Players constantly have to make tough decisions on which card to play next. One wrong choice can mean defeat.
The tournament format allows players to meet and talk to other players from all over the country.
Before each round, competitors gather around the pairings boards to find out who their next opponent will be.
Is victory in the cards for these two Junior Division players?
Competitors must use the same deck for the entire weekend, so a lot of tough choices have to be made over which cards to include.
This Pokémon fan certainly looks the part, as do many of the competitors at the National Championships.
It’s always interesting to see what strategies succeed at Nationals, especially for those heading on to the World Championships in August.
