Pokkén Tournament Last Chance Qualifier

The Pokkén Tournament Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) is the final opportunity for players to earn a spot in the Pokkén Tournament World Championships. The tournament takes place on Friday, August 18, at the Anaheim Convention Center. The top four players from the tournament will receive an invitation to play the following day, Saturday, August 19, at the World Championships main event, where they’ll be competing against other players from previous qualifying events for a prize pool of $20,000!

Registration

The LCQ is open to anyone age 10 and over. The entry fee for the Pokkén Tournament LCQ is $30 for all participants. Registration for the LCQ includes a spectator badge to the Pokémon World Championships for the entrant. Players under age 18 will receive one additional spectator badge and lanyard at no charge for a parent or guardian. Additionally, all participants will receive six Pokémon TCG booster packs. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Format

The Pokkén Tournament LCQ will be a Double Elimination competition. Players must adhere to the Pokkén Tournament rules and the Play! Pokémon general event rules.

All players must bring their own controller for this event. The only permitted controller is the Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad controller by Hori.

Player Meeting

Pokkén Tournament LCQ entrants must pick up their spectator badges prior to entering the event hall. All players must attend a pre-event player meeting at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, August 18, in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center.
