Pokémon TCG Autumn Regional Championships

Pokémon TCG Autumn Regional ChampionshipsThe Pokémon TCG Autumn Regional Championships is the first big event in the 2015 Play! Pokémon tournament season. Held in cities across the U.S. in October 2014, each Regional Championships is part of a title-event series where players compete for the title of Regional Champion! Results of the Regional Championships can give a serious boost to a player’s Championship Points and chances of earning travel awards to Nationals, or even an invitation to the 2015 Pokémon World Championships!

This season’s Regional Championships will feature the new Expanded Format. The first day of Swiss rounds will use the Standard Format used in all previous Championship Series events. The second day of Swiss rounds and the single-elimination rounds will switch to the Expanded Format. Because all Standard decks are legal in the Expanded Format, players are not required to change their decks. Players who choose to change their decks after the initial Swiss rounds will be required to submit a revised deck list.

Who Can Play at the Autumn Regional Championships?

The Autumn Regional Championships do not require an invitation or qualification. All players in good standing are welcome to participate. Players need to bring their own 60-card Standard Format deck.

What is the entry fee?

There is no entry fee for Junior and Senior Division players. Masters Division players will be charged an entry fee determined by the tournament organizer. See event listing for details.
