Understanding the Championship Points System

Each Championship Series event has a Best Finish Limit. This is the maximum number of scores that can count for that series, with higher-scoring placements replacing lower scores. For example, if you play in 8 League Challenge events, only your 6 best scores will be counted, and you can't earn more than 90 Championship Points for the series (15 points for 1st place, times the Best Finish Limit of 6). The number of Championship Points awarded for 1st place is consistent for every tournament in a Championship Series. Other players may earn Championship Points based on tournament attendance (per age division). For example, if an age division has at least 8 players, the 3rd- and 4th-place finishers get points. If an age division has at least 32 players, the 5th- through 8th-place finishers get points, and so on. This minimum attendance is called the Kicker.
