What is the Pokémon Player Rewards Program?

The Pokémon Player Rewards Program is a way for Pokémon players to earn free stuff simply by participating in Leagues and tournaments!

What can I earn?

Player Rewards are determined by the number of Play! Points earned in a year. For 2012:

5 or more Play! Points

All eligible players with at least 5 Play! Points will also receive a pack of Promotional Energy cards.

15 or more Play! Points

All eligible players with at least 15 Play! Points will also receive a pack of 3 great Promo Cards. There will be 4 copies of each promo card in the pack.

Top 100 Play! Point totals per age division

The eligible players with the top 100 Play! Point totals in each age division will also receive a pack of Play! Pokémon sleeves and 2 copies of a highly sought after Pokémon Trainer card.   

Player of the Year

The eligible player with the highest Play! Point total in each age division will also receive Pokémon product for a full year. This will consist of two displays of each set released in 2013.

Rewards are subject to change at Play! Pokémon discretion and without prior notice.

How does it work?

For each Play! Pokémon-sanctioned tournament, League season, or Premier Event in which you participate and whose results are reported to Play! Pokémon, you will earn Play! Points.

Non-Premier Events:

• Tournament: 1 per event per month, up to 12 total per year
• League: 1 per League season, up to 8 total per year

Premier Events:

• Prerelease Tournament: 1 per event, no limit
• Battle Road Tournament: 1 per event, no limit
• City Championships: 2 per event, no limit
• State/Province/Territory Championships: 3 per event, no limit
• Regional Championships: 3 per event, no limit
• National Championships: 10 points
  • Some side events may also award Play! Points
• World Championships: 20 points
  • Some side events may also award Play! Points

At the end of each Tournament season, Play! Pokémon will mail you a package with your Player Rewards. It's that easy!

Does it cost anything to participate?

No! Participation in the Pokémon Rewards Program is free of charge. All you need to do to participate is have an active Pokémon Trainer Club account with current, accurate shipping information, and play in Leagues and/or tournaments!

When will my benefits go into effect?

If you have an active Pokémon Trainer Club account, your tournament and League play immediately starts earning you credits for Player Rewards!

What are the requirements for participation?

To be eligible to earn Player Rewards, you must be an active Play! Pokémon member with an active Pokémon Trainer Club account at Pokemon.com, and you must set your preferences to opt in to Pokémon Rewards mailings.

What happens if I only attend part of a League Season? Do I still get a Rewards Credit?

Yes! If you are reported as part of a League roster for a season, you will receive full credit for that League Season, even if you only went to a portion of the League days that season.
