US Pokémon National Championships Pokkén Tournament Schedule and Information

Player check-in will begin on Thursday and continue at various times throughout the weekend. Players who have registered online and have confirmed that their names are on the confirmation list do not need to check in prior to their players meeting. However, they will need to check in at some point during the weekend to receive their Nationals registration items.

Tournament Format

There is a player cap of 128 Senior division players and 512 Masters division players. Please register online before the event. Online registration will close on June 24.

Competition is played using a double-elimination format. Masters division players will be seeded based on their season Championship Points. If attendance does not reach 32 Senior division players or 64 Masters division players, the Tournament Organizer may alter the format, including the use of round robin pools.

All matches will be best-of-three games except:

  • Senior division: Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and the Grand Finals are best-of-five games

  • Masters division: Winners Semifinals, Winners Finals, Losers Quarterfinals, Losers Semifinals, Losers Finals, and the Grand Finals are best-of-five games

Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad controllers by HORI will be available for use for Senior division players. Masters division players must bring their own controller.

Players will compete using LAN battle.
