1. Travel stipends and byes are awarded to the winning Canadian or United States player and are awarded at the National Championships corresponding to the player’s nationality. A Canadian player is therefore eligible to win a travel allowance at the Canadian National Championship from an event hosted in the United States, and vice versa. STP Championships held in Mexico do not award travel allowances.

2. Travel stipends ‘stack’. Players who win more than one SPT will receive the sum of their travel allowances. Players who also win a Regional Championship will receive both the Regional travel award and the SPT travel allowance.

3. Byes do not ‘stack.’ If you have won a bye in another event, either a different SPT or a Regional Championship, you will receive the largest bye you have earned. You will not receive the sum of all the byes you earn.
