What is the Pokémon Player Rewards Program?

The Pokémon Player Rewards Program is a way for Pokémon players to earn free stuff simply by participating in leagues and tournaments!

What can I earn?

Currently, players can earn foil Energy cards for Tier One, promo cards for Tier Two, and Prerelease event sleeves for Tier Three. We also ship Tier Three rewards first, so the most dedicated players get their rewards before anyone else!

Rewards are subject to change at POP discretion and without prior notice.

Does it cost anything to participate?

No! Participation in the Pokémon Rewards Program is free of charge. All you need to do to participate is have an active Pokémon Trainer Club account with current, accurate shipping information, and play in leagues and/or tournaments!

How does it work?

For each POP-sanctioned tournament, league season, or Premier Event in which you participate and whose results are reported to POP, you will earn one credit. Each credit is a step toward a Rewards Tier.

  • Earn 3–5 credits to reach Tier One.
  • Earn 6–10 credits and hit Tier Two.
  • Eleven credits or more and you’re at Tier Three!

At the end of each quarter, POP will mail you a package with your Player Rewards. It's that easy!

When will my benefits go into effect?

If you have an active Pokémon Trainer Club account, your tournament and league play immediately starts earning you credits for Player Rewards!

What are the requirements for participation?

To be eligible to earn Player Rewards, you must be an active POP member with an active Pokémon Trainer Club account at Pokémon.com, and you must set your preferences to opt in to Pokémon Rewards mailings. In addition, it is your responsibility to ensure the shipping and contact information in your account is current and accurate prior to the Player Rewards mailing date. Players can hold only one account at a time. Multiple accounts will be merged.

Who is eligible for Player Rewards?

The Player Rewards Program is designed to reward all POP members for their participation in our programs. This means that players, organizers, and League Leaders are all eligible to earn rewards. Players will earn rewards for playing: organizers and League Leaders will earn rewards for the great work they do to help promote the Pokémon TCG!

If I currently have an active Pokémon Trainer Club account, will I automatically receive my Player Rewards?

No. To be eligible to earn Player Rewards you must make sure that you have a Player ID linked to your active Pokémon Trainer Club account. Please verify that the “yes” box has been checked next to “preference to participate” and that your address is current.

Can I transfer my credits to another person?

No. All credits earned belong to the Pokémon Trainer Club member who earned them, and they may not be transferred.

What happens if a Tournament Organizer does not report my participation at an event?

Keeping track of the matches and tournaments you've played in is your responsibility. POP cannot add credit to your Player Rewards account if the event you played in is not reported. If you find that a tournament you played in is not being reflected on your "My Stats" page, contact the organizer of your league or tournament. If you cannot resolve the issue, you may contact POP at customerservice@pokemon.com, and we will make our best effort to ensure that events are reported correctly.

What happens if I only attend part of a League Season? Do I still get a Rewards Credit?

Yes! If you are reported as part of a league roster for a season, you will receive full credit for that League Season, even if you only went to a portion of the league days that season.

How do I figure out how many boosters I'm going to get each quarter?

Just check your "My Stats" page, see how many events you’ve attended, and compare that to the information provided in the "How does it work?" section of this document.
