Get ready for the Pokémon Video Game Championships, returning in spring 2010 to cities across the globe! Returning participants will notice that most of the rules and guidelines are the same as last year, but we've been working hard to make exciting changes that will make the 2010 Pokémon Video Game Championships better than ever! These changes include:

• Players now using Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver Version games exclusively
• Pokémon Level 51 and higher being automatically graded down to Level 50 for the duration of the battle using a new auto-leveling feature
  • Each Pokémon keeps all of the moves it knew before being adjusted
  • Pokémon that evolve after Level 50 don't devolve
  • Any Pokémon below Level 50 will stay at its current level
• Virtually every Pokémon found in the National Pokédex of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions is eligible, including Pokémon traded in from earlier games, with the following exceptions:
  • Arceus, Celebi, Darkrai, Deoxys, Jirachi, Manaphy, Mew, Phione, and Shaymin cannot participate
  • A team cannot contain more than two of Dialga, Giratina, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Lugia, Mewtwo, Palkia, and Rayquaza during a battle

Dennoch haben wir uns ordentlich ins Zeug gelegt, um euch einige aufregende Neuheiten präsentieren zu können, die die Pokémon Videospiel-Weltmeisterschaften in diesem Jahr noch spannender machen werden! Zum Beispiel:

• Teilnehmer werden jetzt ausschließlich mit Pokémon Goldene Edition HeartGold und Pokémon Silberene Edition SoulSilver spielen

Si ya participaste el año pasado, verás que la mayoría de las reglas y pautas son las mismas, pero hemos estado trabajando muchísimo para que haya emocionantes cambios y el Campeonato de Videojuegos Pokémon 2010 sea mejor que nunca. Estos cambios incluyen:

• Los jugadores usarán exclusivamente Pokémon HeartGold y SoulSilver
• Los Pokémon de nivel 51 y superior serán bajados a nivel 50 automáticamente durante el combate con un nuevo programa de auto-nivel

Siete tutti pronti? I Campionati di videogiochi dei Pokémon ritornano a partire dalla prossima primavera 2010 in diverse città in giro per il mondo! Chi ha già partecipato alle edizioni dell'anno scorso sarà contento di sapere che le regole sono rimaste per lo più invariate. Sono stati apportati solo pochi accorgimenti nel tentativo di rendere i Campionati di videogiochi dei Pokémon del 2010 ancora più emozionanti! Ecco alcuni di questi cambiamenti:

• I giocatori potranno utilizzare esclusivamente Pokémon Versione Oro HeartGold oppure Pokémon Versione Argento SoulSilver.
• I Pokémon di livello superiore verranno automaticamente riportati al livello 50 per la durata della lotta grazie a una nuova funzione di livellamento automatico:
  • Ogni Pokémon conserverà le mosse che conosceva già prima del livellamento;
  • I Pokémon che si evolvono al livello 50 manterranno la loro forma evoluta;

• Les joueurs utilisent désormais Pokémon HeartGold ou SoulSilver exclusivement
• Les Pokémon de niveau égal ou supérieur à 51 sont automatiquement limités au niveau 50 pour la durée du combat par le biais d'une nouvelle fonction d'ajustement de niveau automatique
