Get the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom!

Add the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram or Zekrom to your game with a special distribution event beginning on March 10th and ending April 8th via the Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection service*! The Pokémon that you'll receive into your copy of Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version will be the Pokémon that is not available in that version during normal gameplay. So, you'll receive Reshiram into your Pokémon White Version game and Zekrom into your Pokémon Black Version game.

These Legendary Pokémon are Level 100, and have moves that make them extremely powerful in battle. Plus, you'll know they are special Pokémon because they come in a Cherish Ball and are adorned with a Wish Ribbon.

The opportunity to get these Legendary Pokémon won't be around long, so don't miss your chance to get Reshiram or Zekrom for your game!

After you get Reshiram or Zekrom, be sure to visit the Pokémon Global Link, where even more cool things await! When you tuck in one of these two special Pokémon, you'll be able to visit a new area in the Pokémon Dream World, as well as get a special C-Gear skin matching the Pokémon you tucked in! How to get Reshiram or Zekrom via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection distribution

To get Reshiram or Zekrom, you need:

  • A Nintendo DS™, Nintendo DSi™, Nintendo DSi XL™, or Nintendo 3DS™ system
  • A copy of Pokémon Black Version to receive Zekrom
  • A copy of Pokémon White Version to receive Reshiram
  • No more than 11 Wonder Cards in your possession

To receive one of the Legendary Pokémon in your copy of Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version:

When you begin your game, select “MYSTERY GIFT” from the main menu.

Select “RECEIVE GIFT.” Then select “Yes” to open a communication channel.

After you open a communication channel, select “GET VIA NINTENDO WFC” and choose “Yes.”

Watch as you receive Reshiram or Zekrom!

Make sure you have at least one open spot in your party for the Pokémon.

Speak to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick up the Pokémon.

Now check your Pokémon party and you’ll see Reshiram or Zekrom.
