Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness

The secret world of Pokémon once again lures in a human Trainer, turning him or her into a Pokémon that can understand the language of all other Pokémon! Become one of 16 possible Pokémon—which one depends on your answers to an initial test of your character. Once again, your adventure won't be a solo one—a Pokémon partner will join you for your journey over snowy mountains, through dense forests, and across fields of molten lava. Through all this, randomly created missions and dungeons mean that every expedition will be unique!

Like the previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, you can call for help or aid a friend stuck in a dungeon. But unlike the previous games, players with a wireless broadband Internet connection can use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to lend a helping hand (or get a little help yourself) by contacting another Trainer via email or via the Wii Message Board. And if you're waiting to be rescued by a friend, you can engage in a standby adventure where you can collect money called Poké and items (but not level-up your Pokémon) until help arrives.

With over 490 Pokémon to encounter and catch, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness will keep you busy for days.

As of May 20, 2014, certain online functionality offered through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection will no longer be accessible, including online features of Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2. You will still be able to enjoy the games in offline and local wireless modes.

This functionality affects only Wii and Nintendo DS games—online play for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games such as Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be unaffected.
