Black & White—Plasma Blast
Virizion-EX (9/101) can protect your Pokémon from Special Conditions with its Verdant Wind Ability. It can also power up your Bench with the Emerald Slash attack, getting Energy from your deck and doing 50 damage!
Control the action with Genesect-EX (11/101)! Call out an opponent's Benched Pokémon with its Red Signal Ability, then take aim with Megalo Cannon! Plus, the Black & White—Plasma Blast expansion includes two ACE SPEC cards that can make Genesect-EX even more powerful! Which will you choose?
If your opponent's deck relies on Plasma Energy, keep it in check with Team Plasma Froslass (23/101) and its Cursed Glare Ability! If Froslass is your Active Pokémon, your opponent can't play Special Energy cards from his or her hand!
The Stage 1 Drifblim (35/101) is a great card to hold back Team Plasma Pokémon. Its appropriately named Derail attack does a decent amount of damage, plus it knocks off a Special Energy on the Defending Pokémon. Derail is aided by Drifblim’s Drifting Balloon Ability, which makes Drifblim’s attacks cost less for each opposing Team Plasma Pokémon in play. If your opponent has three Team Plasma Pokémon in play, Derail is a free attack!
Let Jirachi-EX (60/101) deliver the card you need with its Stellar Guidance Ability, which lets you get a Supporter card from your deck when Jirachi-EX comes into play! Then keep the battle going with Hypnostrike, a 60-damage attack that also makes both Jirachi-EX and the Defending Pokémon fall asleep.
The bond between Iris and Axew has always been strong in the Pokémon TV series, and now this bond appears in the Pokémon TCG. Axew’s (67/101) Strong Bond attack lets you search your deck for the Iris Supporter card and put it in your hand. The Dragon-type Axew doesn’t have particularly potent attacks, but its evolved forms make it a useful card to include in your next deck.
Fight back against Team Plasma Pokémon with Haxorus (69/101). If the Defending Pokémon is a Team Plasma Pokémon, Haxorus's Strike of the Champion attack will knock it out in one shot! If the Defending Pokémon isn't a Team Plasma Pokémon, hit with Dragonaxe, a powerful attack that does more damage with every Metal energy attached to Haxorus.
If you're planning a Team Plasma deck, you'll definitely want Team Plasma Porygon-Z (74/101). Its Plasma Transfer Ability lets you move Plasma Energy around from one Pokémon to another. Always keep your Active Pokémon stocked with the Energy it needs!
Need a little boost when you fall behind? The Iris (81/101) Supporter card can certainly help. During the turn it’s played, Iris makes attacks do an extra 10 damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. If your opponent is on the edge of victory, Iris helps you hit hard to get back in the game!
Give Genesect–EX even more firepower with the G Booster (92/101) ACE SPEC Pokémon Tool card. G Booster gives Genesect an extra attack that does an incredible 200 damage! You'll have to discard 2 Energy attached to Genesect–EX every time you use it, a small price to pay for such a devastating hit!
