XD at E3

E3 is in full swing over at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and that means plenty of new and unreleased games to check out on the show floor! Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, GameCube - each system had lots of new games to look at in the Nintendo pavilion, and lots of people came to check them out! The Pokémon booth got it own tidal wave of attention as Pokémon fans dropped by to check out the latest addition to the world of Pokémon - Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness on the GameCube!

New storyline, new characters, different Pokémon to snag and purify, topped off with a much longer playtime - Pokémon XD is a true treat for Pokémon RPG fans. Unfortunately, the version at E3 was only a short demo to whet our appetite for the game's release in October!

When we were done with our adventure on Orre, there were plenty of other things to check out, like the Game Boy Micro! Several were on display to look at, and there were even a few to play with - loaded up with Pokémon Emerald! We're happy to say that though the Game Boy Micro screen is smaller, the familiar menus and maps of Pokémon are still quite readable!

Though E3 is wrapping up, stay tuned to Pokémon.com for a closer look at Pokémon XD, as well as any other developments in the world of Pokémon video games!
