Regions for the Top!
Calling all Pokémon Trading Card Game players: the Regional Championships begin this weekend! Are you ready to test your skills with the best of the west… or the east, north, or south? Taking place in fifteen locations across the U.S. and Canada on Saturday, April 14th, and Saturday, April 21st, the Regional Championships are a Premier Event that’s free and open to all players in good standing! And if you have your eye on the World Championships this summer, this event will count towards your Premier Rating!
Players will compete on one of three age categories: Juniors (born in 1996 or later), Senior (born between 1992 and 1995), and Masters (born in or before 1991). Not only will the top 16 finishers in each division take home some cool prizes, but all participants receive a Pokémon TCG Regional Championships promo card and commemorative pin while supplies last! Finish at the top and you could win a Travel Award to the U.S. or Canadian National Championships, too! So be sure to bring your Pokémon Organized Play ID card if you have one – and if you don’t, you can sign up for one at the event!

It’s a long way to the top of the league, but the Battle Road Tournaments will be a good opportunity to hone your skills and raise your ranking – and don’t forget about the Diamond and Pearl prerelease tournaments! So stay current with Pokemon.com and the Pokémon Organized Play site for the latest official news and updates!
