Make Mine Manaphy!
So you've saved the Fiore region and unlocked the mission to recover the Manaphy Egg, but how do you wirelessly transfer the Manaphy Egg to Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl? We'll explain how! (Any American and Australian players who still need the code to unlock the Manaphy Egg mission in Pokémon Ranger can still find all the details on Manaphy.com, too!)
To transfer Manaphy, you'll need two Nintendo DS units, one with Pokémon Ranger inserted and one with Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl - enlist a friend's Nintendo DS if you need help! Before you start, you'll also want to save at a point in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl where you can get to a Poké Mart, then restart the game to access the main menu.
1. In Pokémon Ranger, access Ranger Net from the main menu. Select the Check on the Egg option.
2. Touch the Egg status screen and select Send Message to begin the transfer process. Pokémon Ranger will now attempt to connect to Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl.
3. In Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl, access the main menu. Once the connection with Pokémon Ranger starts, an option to Link with Pokémon Ranger will appear. Press the A button to receive the solicitation.
4. In Pokémon Ranger, you'll then be asked to confirm the transfer. Once you confirm, you will receive a message in Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl when the transfer is complete. The Manaphy Egg will vanish from Pokémon Ranger.
5. Start Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl and visit the nearest Poké Mart. Speak to the person in a green uniform to receive your Manaphy Egg!
From there, keep the Manaphy Egg with you and continue on your Pokémon journey. Eventually, your new friend will hatch! But what kind of nature will Manaphy have, and what powers does it possess? Get ready to find out!
