Hit the Battle Road!
These are exciting times for the Pokémon Trading Card Game! Due out on May 23rd, the new Diamond & Pearl expansion is right around the corner. This means the weekend of May 19th and 20th is your final chance to participate in a Diamond & Pearl Prerelease tournament and get the scoop on the new cards before they hit the stores! And with the months counting down until Nationals and the World Championships, expect to see plenty of great Pokémon TCG battles at the upcoming Battle Road Spring tournaments!
Battle Road Spring tournaments will take place throughout North America from May 26th through June 24th, and they're a free, fun opportunity to tune up your skills and your Premier Rating. Players compete in one of three divisions, Junior (born in 1996 or later), Senior (born between 1992 and 1995), or Masters (born in 1991 or earlier), with the top 2 finishers in each division taking home booster pack prizes! Of course, the results will count towards determining overall player rankings, so be sure to bring your Pokémon Organized Play ID if you have one. If not, you can register for one at the event!
