Fight to the Finish!
Hey, Pokémon TCG players! Hoping to polish your skills or raise your rankings in the countdown to the U.S. National Championships? There are still two weekends left in the Pokémon TCG Battle Road Spring tournaments, now going on across North America! But the weekend of June 23rd and 24th will be your last chance, so be sure to check the event schedule!
The Battle Road Spring tournaments are free to all players in good standing. Players compete in one of three divisions: Junior (born in 1996 or later), Senior (born between 1992 and 1995), or Masters (born in 1991 or earlier). Results count towards player Premier Ratings, and for the top 2 finishers in each division, there are booster pack prizes plus a special Victory Medal card for the victor! And if you're wondering why they're called the Battle Road Spring tournaments - plans for Battle Road Autumn are in the works, so stay tuned!
The Battle Road could be the road that leads to the World Championships, but don't forget the next major event of the season: the U.S. National Championships at the Origins International Game Expo in Columbus, Ohio! Nationals will take place on the weekend of July 7th and 8th, and the event is open to all players in good standing who are legal U.S. residents. Just remember, you'll need to purchase admissions to Origins in order to attend. Results will count towards player Premier Ratings, and all participants receive a free promo card and commemorative pin while supplies last. The top 4 finishers in each age category will receive an invitation to the World Championships in Hawaii!
