Countdown to Launch
We have some real gems for you today – namely, Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl! These two games are ready for launch on Sunday, April 22nd, 2007. And if you haven’t heard, we’re going to kick off the day with a wicked webcast live from Rockefeller Center in NYC!
Our webcast is going to show those of you who can’t make it to the Big Apple just how we party, Pokémon—style! Besides the great contests and awesome giveaways, we’re going to introduce a Q/A session with two of the pioneers of the Pokémon franchise, live on stage – Junichi Masuda, the Director of GAME FREAK inc., and Shigeru Ohmori, the Product Development Planner who lead the team on Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.
These special guests flew in from Japan just for this launch event, and will answer some of the most asked-about questions concerning Pokémon!
