Brawl-Out Battling!
Every Pokémon fan knows that a Pokémon battle is a competition between Trainers and their Pokémon, but Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii is about to give the phrase "Pokémon battle" a whole new meaning! Play as Pikachu, a Pokémon Trainer, or one of a slew of other Nintendo all-star characters as they take each other on in non-stop melee match-ups! Now scheduled for release on March 9th, 2008, Super Smash Bros. Brawl also offers plenty of other Pokémon surprises as well!
You can choose to brawl in a Pokémon Stadium, and grab Poké Ball items to use against your opponents: you never know what Pokémon may be inside, but we've already shown you some of the Pokémon that might appear, from Magikarp and Wobbuffet to Deoxys and Mew! Now we have two more Poké Ball Pokémon to show you: Bonsly and Manaphy!
What does Bonsly do? Sure, it walks around, but you can also grab it and toss it at your opponent! You won't be able to throw poor Bonsly very far, but it'll definitely have an impact if it hits someone. As for Manaphy, it uses its Heart Swap ability to switch you with one of your opponents. Fortunately, the effect is only temporary!
